Lauren (Dental Hygienist)
Lauren has been a part of West Cobb Dental Designs since 1996 and has been a dental hygienist for over 25 years. Originally from California, she eventually settled in Georgia where she has resided for over 20 years. She is blessed and proud to be part of an innovative, state-of-the-art practice where she can apply her knowledge and skills to providing every patient with care, prevention, maintenance and support to reach their optimal oral health. Lauren has two daughters, a grandson, and two granddaughters. In her personal time, she enjoys spending time with her pets, visiting Nashville, home projects, and photography.
Corolla (Dental Hygienist)
Corolla has been practicing as a dental hygienist since 1984 and has been a part of the family at West Cobb Dental Designs since 1989. She considers herself blessed to be able to help patients through education and the ever-progressing science of dentistry. Corolla says, “What really makes my heart happy is the relationships I am honored to have with my coworkers and my family of patients. I am blessed with a work environment in which I get to see the science of dentistry married with the fellowship of personal relationships.”
Barbara (Financial Coordinator)
Barbara attended Ohio State University and majored in Early Child Development. She has worked most of her life in the dental field starting in high school with her father’s dental practice. She began working at West Cobb Dental Designs in 1986 and is the smiling face many see when walking through our door. Barbara has been married to Chris for over 30 years and they have 3 daughters, 3 sons-in-law, and two grandchildren. Outside of the office, Barbara enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with family and good friends.
Linda G. (Scheduling Coordinator)
Linda has been in the dental field for over 32 years. She joined West Cobb Dental Designs in 2014 after 30 years of service to Dr. Patricia Kimmerling before Dr. Kimmerling’s retirement. Linda has one son and has been married to Donnie for 30 years. In her free time, Linda enjoys the beach, music, and dancing.
Alane (Office Manager)
Alane graduated from Emory & Henry College with a degree in Biology and Economics. She started her dental career in 1996 as a sterilization tech and dental assistant for West Cobb Dental Designs. After taking time off to raise two wonderful daughters, Alane returned to work full time covering clinical and administrative duties. As Office Manager, she enjoys doing whatever necessary to help her team and their patients have a wonderful day. Alane is married to Wade, her college sweetheart of 25 years. Away from work, she is either found on the lake or at high school sporting events cheering on her local team.
Chernanda (Dental Assistant)
Chernanda joined West Cobb Dental Designs in 2004 and was welcomed with open arms. She is a native of Atlanta who migrated to Cobb County over 20 years ago. Chernanda enjoys working with such a great group of Dentists and staff that keep up with Continuing Education & technology. Chernanda loves helping patients achieve a greater dental health & beautiful smiles. She is the mother of two beautiful adult children and one granddaughter. In her spare time, Chernanda enjoys exotic cooking, dancing, art, fashion, decorating, great movies, gardening, collecting wind chimes, and helping families in need.
Linda H. (Dental Assistant)
Linda completed her dental training at the Dental School of Southern California. She has 30 years in the dental profession with over 20 of those at West Cobb Dental Designs. Linda values the strong relationships she has cultivated with both teammates and patients alike. Linda is the proud mother of 2 adult children – a daughter and a son. Outside of dentistry, she loves, loves, loves the beach.
Pam (Dental Assistant)
Pam is a native of the Marietta area and has been in the dental field for over 17 years after becoming a Dental Assistant 2000. She takes seriously helping patients achieve and maintain their dental health. Patients appreciate her gentle and compassionate chair side manner. In her spare time, Pam enjoys spending time with her husband, teenage daughter and two young boys.
Nicole (Dental Assistant)
Nicole is a world-traveled military child who finally found her “happy place” as an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant 10 years ago via Fortis College of Atlanta. She finds the process of restorative dentistry very rewarding, in that giving patients beautiful smiles or relieving them of pain can literally CHANGE THEIR LIVES. Although not required, Nicole regularly takes Continuing Education courses to keep up with the forever changing and advancing world of dentistry. When not working chair side, Nicole enjoys spending time supporting local businesses and exploring everything to do (and everywhere to eat) in Atlanta with her two blessings, daughter Kadynce and son, Evan.
