Dr. Croxton

Dr. David Croxton has been a practicing dentist since 1989 in the West Cobb area. He moved from Virginia to the Atlanta area in 1978 where he finished high school in Dunwoody. He attended the University of Georgia for undergraduate studies and received his DMD degree from Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Croxton finished both undergrad and dental school in a record 3½ years each.

Providing patients with up to date dental care with the latest advancements in dentistry is his passion. This requires constant continuing education and a strong commitment to education. Dr. Croxton has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education with special emphasis on surgical aspects of implant dentistry, restorative dentistry, and cosmetic and facial esthetics. He is also involved in many other professional organizations including:

  • Georgia Dental Association
  • Georgia Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry
  • Academy of General Dentistry
  • American Academy of Implant Dentistry
  • American Academy of Facial Esthetics

Dr. Croxton resides in Kennesaw with his wife Tracy and their 3 children – Brittany, Hunter and Nicole. He and his family enjoy golf, tennis, and leisure travel.


Dr. Beth Pascaner

Dr. Beth Pascaner was born and raised on the shore of Long Island, New York. She met and married Bentley Boger. They have 3 beautiful and active children– Jack, Olivia, and Zoe. She received her undergraduate degree at Duke University in North Carolina, with a BS in zoology. Dr. Beth moved to Atlanta to attend dental school at Emory University where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1982. Dr. Beth then completed a general practice residency program through the VA Hospital in New Orleans, which was affiliated with LSU and Charity Hospital. She moved back to the Atlanta area in 1983, started her own private dental practice in West Cobb in 1986 and, after birthing twins, she moved her practice across the street to join West Cobb Dental Designs in 1992.


Dr. Bumgarner

Dr. Bumgarner was born in East Tennessee and grew up in the foothills of the Smokey Mountains. He graduated high school in Bartow, Florida. From there he moved to Atlanta to attend Emory University and earned a degree in psychology with a minor in biology. After graduation from Emory, Dr. Bumgarner worked for several years as a virologist for the state Health Department in Atlanta and then returned to Emory to receive a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Emory University School of Dentistry.


Dr. Cathy Vaughan

Dr. Cathy Vaughan was raised in the Finger Lakes Region of New York state. She attended Niagara University and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. In the early 1980’s she attended Emory University School of Dentistry and earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. She also completed an additional year of training in “Advanced Education in General Dentistry” at Emory University. In the 1980’s, Dr. Cathy began her practice in Cobb County. For over 20 years, she shared a dental office with her sister, Dr. Patricia Kimmerling. Upon Dr. Kimmerling’s retirement, Dr. Cathy joined the practice at West Cobb Dental Designs.
Dr. Cathy has a daughter currently attending school at Mt. Paran. Over the years, Dr. Vaughan has enjoyed extensive volunteer work at church and school.
